Installation Art - Lambert House, London

Growing up I moved between Northern Ireland and Belgium several times so I am interested in the transitory nature of ‘the home’. The concept of a home, usually perceived as strongly linked to a permanent building, can be something more temporary. It consists of the ever-evolving content we carry with us and the personal archaeology we leave behind.

The thin plastic sheeting has an inherent adaptability and temporality, emphasising the delicacy and fragility of personal space. The white floor creates an evolving performative aspect: as the audience leave dusty footprints their pathways become part of the installation.
